Job Title: Retail Sales
Job Location: Fish First ! Albany store
Job Qualifications: General knowledge of flyfishing in Northern California. Computer literate. Previous flyfishing retail experience dersired, but not neccessary. Previous flyfishing instruction and guiding experience desired, but not neccessary.
Job Description: Part time position that will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities (training will be provided when neccessary): 1. Retail sales in the Albany store Be knowledgeable of the current flyfishing products on the market Generate customer sales Independently open/close store Operate a cash register Recieve and stock merchandise Generate and place orders for merchandise Generate customer orders Create gift certificates Handle return/repair merchandise Ship packages via UPS Spool line and backing on reels Organize and clean shop 2. Instruct FlyfishFirst!™ classes or FishWithUs!™ clinics 3. Guide local waters
Work Schedule: Approximately 10-12 hours per week. Introductory FlyfishFirst!™ classes, FishWithUs!™ clinics and guided trips when available.
Pay: Hourly rate for retail sales position based on retail sales and flyfishing knowledge and experience. Instructor/guide pay rates are per class/clinic/guided trip and are separate from retail hourly wage.
